Energy clearing through the earth element is one of the simplest methods. Grounding with bare feet in the grass harmonizes you with Earth's electromagnetic frequency.

Spiritual baths, floor washes, aura mists, etc.
Fire
The burning of loose herbs, incense, candles, especially white, can clear the energy of any space. Bundles of herbs tied together can be used to smudge your space and aura.
Air
It is often thought that incense is the primary method of energy clearing through the air element, however, I believe the more accurate method is through sound. Whether that be singing bowls, bells, rattles, clapping, or humming; this method requires the least effort of all. We'll get into energy charging (programming) with this element as well as the others method later.
