How This Started

I built Herban Mystic in 2020—mid-pandemic, new mother, world falling apart, trying to figure out how to create something meaningful while everything was chaos.

I'd spent years in branding and design, but it felt hollow. Beautiful, but not transformational. I wanted to help people actually change their lives, not just look good doing it.

The real catalyst came from an occult class I'd been waiting six years to take. When I finally had the time and money in fall 2020, it cracked everything open. Suddenly, all the pieces I'd been collecting—astrology, mysticism, branding, strategy, ritual—clicked into place.

I saw it clearly: Brand building is modern alchemy. It's taking the raw material of who you are and transmuting it into something visible, viable, and magnetic.

I registered the LLC in 2021. Twelve days later, I was working at a botanica.

Spirit wasn't subtle about the path.

I'm Naiya—founder of Herban Mystic, lifestyle astrologer, and mystic brand strategist.
