The Beginning
Herban Mystic was conceived in the strange, liminal space of 2020.
Mid-pandemic. New to motherhood. The world was unraveling and rebuilding at the same time, and so was I.
I'd always been drawn to branding—spent years creating mock brand identity systems, dreaming of becoming a brand manager. But there was something missing. Graphic design alone wasn't enough. I wanted to do something that went deeper. Something that actually helped people transform.
I was in the thick of it—distressed, searching—when I found myself asking:
What if I could create a brand that was grounded, healing, and intuitive? One that helped people actualize their desired reality through ritual as mindset management?
That question became Herban Mystic.
Then came the catalyst: an occult class with Brother Panic that I'd been waiting for since 2014. Six years of wanting, but never having the time or money. Fall 2020, everything aligned. The class cracked everything open. Suddenly, the pieces I'd been collecting for years—branding, mysticism, symbolism, ritual—all clicked into place.
I registered Herban Mystic as an LLC in 2021. Twelve days later, I was working at a botanica. The universe wasn't subtle about the direction I was supposed to go.
The Journey
I've been an astrology enthusiast for as long as I can remember. Self-taught, obsessed, always watching the sky and reading charts like maps to understand myself and the people around me.
Most of my family is from Mississippi. My grandmothers practiced hoodoo in ways that weren't explicitly named but were undeniably present. If you know, you know. I grew up around that quiet, powerful knowing—the plants, the prayers, the protection work woven into everyday life.
Spirit communication came later. After my dad passed, he started showing up in meditation. That changed everything—opened a doorway I didn't know I was standing in front of. Suddenly, the unseen world wasn't theoretical. It was intimate, real, and guiding me forward.
Through years of study—mysticism, the occult, branding, business strategy—I began to see the thread that connected it all:
Symbolism. Ritual. World-building.
These weren't separate domains. They were tools for the same work:
healing trauma, activating spiritual power, and aligning with the reality you're meant to create.
I realized that brand cultivation isn't just marketing. It's modern alchemy.
It's taking the raw material of who you are—your gifts, your story, your cosmic blueprint—and transmuting it into something visible, viable, and magnetic.
And most importantly: I understood that spiritual insight means nothing if you can't integrate it into your everyday life and worldview.

I'm Naiya—founder of Herban Mystic, mystic brand strategist, astrologer, and guide for people who refuse to choose between their spiritual path and their material success.
I'm a mother. I work night shifts at my day job. I know what it's like to build dreams with limited time and energy—which is why everything I create is designed to work WITH your life, not against it.
I'm equal parts practical and poetic. I'll read your birth chart and build your content architecture in the same session. I believe your spiritual practice should support your financial reality, not conflict with it.
My grandmothers' hoodoo wisdom runs through me, even though it was never formally taught. My dad's spirit guides me from the other side. I'm self-taught, spirit-led, and deeply committed to helping people integrate the mystical into the material.
